Arrow Sponsers???????

hopefully this is the right place to post this if not sorry. but....

Any one sponsored? Buddy of mine (Brz Owner) is fully sponsored, and his sponsor just sent him the Rocket Bunny body kit!!! And some of their companies stickers to put on his car and like some business cards, t-shirts, etc.

How legit is this? i mean, i would post anyone's name on my car and go to shows wearing their gear and stuff and advertising in exchange for discounts and stuff. Who wouldn't? That body kit is pricey, i can't wrap my head around a sponsor giving me stuff in exchange for advertisement. seems too good to be true.

Whats your take on this guys? and how can i get sponsored! i need a nice set of coils lol.

P.S. a pic of my up comming projects

Rocket Bunny body kit? Doesn't sound like something I would put on my car. You have any pics as I have never heard of this?

you have to apply for sponsorship opportunities before asking for companies to sponsor you straight up...

Generally if you want sponsorship you have to be someone that other people care about or you need to be willing to provide something in return to the sponsor. Sometimes it's letting them test on your new car. Sometimes you are a really good driver that has a winning race record. Sometimes you have a large fan base that listens to your opinion. If you are lacking all of those things I wouldn't expect much.

Sponsorships depend... you can go to almost any car site and email them and they'll give you feedback. Some will tell you to fill out a form, some host competitions (i'm in one right now for Champion sponsorship), some want R&D car's and provide free finished product.

You have to dig for them sometimes. Some do actually do it based off youtube views in a competition (I received $1,500 for one once).

EDIT:

To date, i have never actually had to put a sticker on my car's body / window for a sponsorship. This is not to say that I wouldn't if i were asked; i just have never been required to. I've been given 4 types of sponsors and in the running for one right now.
