On every vehicle I own once I switch out EVERY fluid to Amsoil I average about 15% increase in mpg. Just swapping oil though I've seen some improvement but usually under 10%

I use Amsoil and have used Amsoil for 12 years now in almost everything. It is a very good oil and is the only oil I know of that does not have any dino oil in it. It is a full synthetic. Mobil One is OK but it is not as good in my opinion. I will continue to use Amsoil in the motor, rear diff and trans. Become a dealer and you can get it at a good price. I still change my oil & filter every 3-5k depending on how hard I run my car.

Did you see this? ...
Once a year I get the 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 5W-30 oil at Walmart for $13 after rebate (~$25 jug minus $12 online rebate).
Thanks to tip-off of threads like this one below which is posted in the forum (just plan ahead to fit the rebate window -- simply amazing!):

I've been using Amsoil ZRod 10w30 for 2 years now and so far so good. After I had the cam installed I noticed more valve train chatter when idling and I was using the M1 oil as per GM. Once I switched to the Amsoil there wasn't so much chatter so that was a positive for me. I didn't notice better fuel mileage.

Probably. The ZRod has a much higher zinc level then most other brands. Better sheer properties and made for cammed engines.

I gone to Amsoil recently. I'm a dealer so I get the discount. My truck I bought the 25k oil change and 2 filters. Camaro I swapped to it but I only it once a yr. no need to change it more often as I don't put but 5k mi a yr on it

Oil is oil. I have used them all.....Castrol, Penzoil, Valvoline, Shell....hell, even used Walmart Supertech. 30wt, 40wt, 50wt. I change it regularly and none of my cars have ever imploded. I'll say it again, its not weather you run synthetic or dino....you have to maintain regular changes.

I have a shop here that does my oil change for me and an entire oil change with Amsoil 5/30 charges me 79.99.

I didn't choose that one because it's "the best" or anything, I like the full synthetic and at that price with the number of quarts we have in the LS, it turns out to be pretty cheap.

Just my .02.
