Mounting a tablet out of sight

I was told a tablet cannot be mounted via proclip without blocking buttons or it would have to be in my line of sight... It is actually pretty easy.
I'm going to adjust the wiring, use a black wire and mess around with the angle to make it cleaner. But it is easy .

Looks cool... what do you plan on using it for? I would think that it pulls your eyes off the road for too long to be used while driving. Almost sure you would be ticketed in Michigan for having it on while on the road.

I have it down there so it doesn't distract me.
I use it for data logging.
And it also has preformance timers.

I'm sure it is illegal too. That is why I made it so it can be removed in less than 5 seconds.

I wish someone would design a mod for the stock display to hinge for a behind dash compartment - that would be cool.

That would be cool.... But ive been into the dash and there is zero empty space in it for something like that.

Did you have to drill through the dash to run the wirin?
