Best engine oil for Break in ?

Hi guy ! My 18 SS 1LE have only 250 miles.
The engine need a half of a pint already. I Heard à few Times than full synthétic oil is not appropriate for Break in ??? Is it true ?
What is the best oil for my car Right now ?

Thanks

No, it's not true for your engine, or any current mass-produced car engine.

All engines burn oil during break-in. It will lessen as the rings and bearings seat. Half a pint however, that could easily be the difference in just turning off the engine and waiting for all the oil to accumulate in the sump.

The best oil is the one in your engine the factory put in. If you want to do an early oil change, make sure you put in the correct Dexos1 gen2 certified full-synthetic.
