That's what I figured. Makes perfect sence. The shorter tire is going to run quicker for sure. I have been saying that forever. Glad someone proved it. It is all about the entire set up. Good work.

Best setup is the tallest tire you can run then gear it accordingly for better roll out but not sure what all gears are available for the 6th gen.

Just the factory Automatic and 6 speed gear sets so no options. Id guess the A8 guys could put the 3.73 from the 6 speed in but if it forces a shift into 6th before the traps it's a wrap.

You beat me to it. No gears for this car yet. So going smaller on the tire is the only option. As discussed before, if you are trapping over 120ish you will have to shift into 5th unless you are running a cam or a 30" tire. I am wondering where the 3.73 and a 30" tire will do. We need a 3.15 to 3.23 option.
