No denial here my friend, at least not on my part.

I don't know what you think you are hearing - and I don't care really that much either way whether the car is NA or not - but there is no blower whine.

There are those that want this car to be SC'd (or NA'd) soooooooo badly but I really don't know why. It will be what it will be.

One thing is certain - it will be awesome.

Wow. I'm sure the data is being analyzed heavily over this issue. You would think ABS would have allowed the front wheel to NOT lock up and steering to be maintained. Almost looks if the drive let off the brake it would have tracked the road, Once the front locked and the car started sliding nothing can be done.

Right before that from it looked like to me like the driver rear wheel when off on the grass.

Edit . Never mind. Just saw the slow motion video. Never left the track surface.

Onstar called them to advise their 90 Day Free Trial was about to expire, right before the turn.

I want it to be N/A simply because I believe N/A is better for endurance road racing. You don't see very many supercharged road racing cars out there for a reason. SC's engines are very hard to keep cool and comfortable for long periods of time. But it looks (sounds ) like GM is trying to change that.

I do agree though, It will be what it will be and it will be an awesome car no doubt.

Oh, I definitely agree with you about the N/A being better suited to road racing plus it reduces complexity and cooling demands. So for those reasons alone, a N/A motor would seem to be the best direction to go.

But there are other constraints that have to be addressed (emissions, etc) so I can see it being an FI motor too. Regardless, the darn thing did sound nasty didn't it?

I can not wait to see and hear more about this car! I'm more excited about it than I was when the C7 came out.

It assumes all of them. Why do you say so? Personal experience or are just wishfull thinking?
