So I’m at the shop getting my new tires. However I was told they are unable to adjust the alignment according to this post due to a missing bolt. Anyone heard of this?

I'd be surprised if the non-1LE SS had the same exact specs as ours.

There's a set screw that goes into the knuckle to set camber once the strut to knuckle bolts are loosened. It's not included on these cars from the factory for some reason. Without it, the knuckle will just swing back to its max negative camber spot. Here's a link to a page that describes it in more detail. It's the bolt in the top of the knuckle in the first few pictures (can ignore the rest of the page besides that). This is for 5th gen, but I believe it should be the same for 6th gen as well.

Any M10x1.5 bolt will work if it's long enough. Hardware stores should have a bolt that would work for this for likely less than $1.

First time hearing about this bolt required for the track alignment. Now I can make sure my alignment guy knows about it beforehand.

Here is what I ended up with. I actually chose the FE4 cause I dont plan on going to the track any time soon. Any feed back is welcome cause I have no problem taking it back to get a different alignment. They provided me with some damn good customer service.

Sorry it came out side ways....

How's it feel?
It should be a tire friendly alignment for the street.
