Talking All New Project 6GR 10-TEN Spoke Fully Forged Made In The U.S.A

4 Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts

Happy Monday fellow enthusiasts. It is with great honor and privilege that we officially introduce Project 6GR's new design for 2018.
Respectfully the wheel is called Project 6GR - TEN. The Ten of course referring to wheel spoke design.

The Project 6GR 10-spoke design has been in development as a collaboration between our wheel designers and also fellow enthusiasts like yourself.
We have been paying close attention, listening, and taking notes very carefully to be able to deliver exactly what you have asked for.
The end result of this teamwork is this simple & clean 10 spoke design to make any Camaro stand out from the crowd. We would like to thank everyone that provided their suggestions, comments, and feedback.

With its given nature the Project 6GR 10-TEN in it's Full Forged construction, are perfect for those die hard track enthusiast! Wheel /tires weights are an astonishing 54.05LB Front and 52.90LB rears, Compared to OEMs 60.45LB and 61.55LB.
A savings of 30lbs on all four corners is just amazing!
If you are looking to change the overall look of your Camaro while complementing its body style and saving weight, the Project 6GR wheels would be the best choice.

This is what we call the “perfect setup” on this Camaro 2SS 1LE sporting the Project 6GR 10-TEN in 20×10 Front & 20×11 rears wrapped with the Contis measuring 285/30/20 Front and 305/30/20 Rear.

The spokes extending to the edge of the barrel provide a "larger" overall diameter appearance and also aids in providing strength.
The larger openings in-between the ten spokes will allow for the maximum viability of the nice braking components equipped on the Camaro platform, especially with those nice Brembo brakes.

We are also developing a B-spoke custom program where we will offer the wheels as raw. As a raw wheel you will be able custom select your offset, width, and finish with almost any color finish of your choice.

As much as wheel companies try, nothing beats the OEM SS 1LE wheels. GM just did those wheels proper. I would even pick that design as an aftermarket, had GM choose a different design.

You can approve on the ZL1 or the ZL1 1LE wheels, but the SS 1LE OEM's do not need any changing.

I agree with TRZ06 on this, GM really nailed it with the SS/1LE wheel design. I wouldn't swap my OEM wheels for another aftermarket 20" wheel, however I think this particular design would look excellent in 19x10/10.5 (Front) or 19x11/11.5 (Rear). Is there any chance of future production in these sizes and fitment for Camaro?

Thank you for your input and we truly respect your opinion! These wheels are fully forged and can be built in most sizes, a 19x10 and 19x11 is available for production.

While I do agree, the 1LE wheel design is nice, it is also heavy. Way heavy for an OEM wheel. Also the 1LE wheels make it harder than heck to clean the calipers and or the insides of the wheel barrel short of pulling the wheel from the car.

Nothing beats a light forged wheel that drops 30lbs from the car.

I’m in the same boat as several others here. I think the OEM 1LE wheels are very, very attractive. However, the weight could be better. The largest problem with that right now, is that the wheels that are available that are lower in weight are either very cost probitative or unattractive, especially in comparison to the stock 1LE wheels.

With that being said, are there plans to make a similar wheel in weight but in a different design?
