Attn Chevy - Please make it so that we can use my link for car data

I think it is ridiculous that I can't use the incredible 8" screen to put gauges for performance data. Why Chevy, why?

Completely agree!!! The performance pages on the Challenger Scat Pack are awesome. The SS is a performance car so it should come with more features that deal with performance.

Hell, just like me. Using the supplied cable which allows me to connect to a PC and I have Android Auto app installed. I can't get my S7 to connect also and I've tried other solutions like Developer mode. Support for it seems buggy as hell.

My car is a 2017. Maybe there is an update for your radio software?

Yep AA was an update for the 16s built before April.

OP have you confirmed another phone doesn't work? You can goto settings to see if AA is listed which tell you if the AA update.

Is it just the dash software that is open source? If not, and it's a language I'm familiar with, I might be able to come up with something.

Edit: Nvm, don't know why I thought it was the dash software. But I'll take a look, and see what it takes to be able to create an app for mylink.

Strange, my S7 edge works perfectly fine. Since you mentioned developer mode you probably have an idea of what you're doing haha but did you try uninstalling the android auto app and then reinstalling it from the play store?

Its a pretty cool feature that I've enjoyed so far.

Yeah, I think they just need to reinstall the mylink patch.

If you do a search, you can find what version you need of mylink for you to have the android auto patch. If yours isn't that version then you need to take it to the dealership and have it updated.

You can find your mylink version in one of the settings screens.

If you are seeing that you have the correct version, you have android auto app on your phone and you plug it in you should see 1 of two things occur.

Nothing may happen ... in which case press the button on your mylink display that says "Projection". This will either do nothing or trigger android auto. The auto-triggering of android auto is hit or miss.

If you got a usb share permission popup on your phone, then you're connected to mylink for a data connection but for some reason android auto is not being triggered. Could be mylink glitching (it happens) or a poor quality cable.
