had engine check light on
Brought in my ZL1 to dealership today had engine check light on.It was for transmission.Mechanic was perplexed until he realized it was mssing a fuse lol..They must of made my car on a Friday. They put a fuse in and all gone everything good as new.Got an oil change too while I was there.Luckily I remembered to tell em no wash, almost forgot .some Mustang driver got a shock today I think he saw his first ZL1 lol.

your car must have missed the quality control check...at least it was just a fuse. Of course I'm kidding. Glad it was such a simple fix.

if it was missing the fuse from the start, wouldn't the light be on from the start?

You think it would, but cars been stored 6 months and only has 900kms on it.I know im not in the habit of pulling fuses out and throwin them away! Light didnt come on till I started it up in garage about 2 months ago. No light when I first stored it! Unless wife is in the habit of stealing fuses ;P |

I'm glad to hear that everything is back to normal Pappa Joe. Kudos for getting it to the dealership and diagnosed. Let us know if you have any concerns moving forward. Drive safe out there! William R. Chevrolet Customer Care
