I ran Texas Speed on my 5th gen. My 6th gen has Stainless Works all the way back into the NPP muffler. I liked em on my 5th gen, affordable, easy to install, and did the job well. Not sure if they have any of their own for the 6th gen yet.

And the first shop was Woods Performance in Oklahoma. Can't find em online because it's a small time shop out in the middle of nowhere. Like I said, unless you're around the area you'll probably never hear of them.

Baily's Hyperformance in Ft. Worth, Tx. is who ended up getting it right. Highly recommend those guys.

Oh I see now, I thought those were your mods to the 6th gen lol. Yeah they are working on long tubes for the 6th gen, I thought you already gotten your hands on them.

After a year of fighting with this car and trying to go faster, it is finally right. Dropped a 3600 FTI converter in a couple weeks ago and it absolutely screams now. Cut a 6.90 @ 100 in the 1/8th mile with a 1.54 60'. Gunning for 10s in the quarter mile on Sunday as long as I don't have to work.

About two months ago I was ready to sell this car for a c6z due to the happenings in this thread and it still running bolt on times. I gave it one more shot by dropping the money on the converter and now I couldn't be happier with it.

So nearly a year after the whole ordeal outlined from the beginning of this thread, it's come to a close on my NA setup. Next step is to keep pushing as it sits to 10s until I finally decide to procharge it and go from there.

Converter's are the ticket. Now that we have more tables for the trans I would say converters are a must if you want to get the most out of you car.

Did Baileys install a new cam or just fix the one that was previously installed; and what cam is it?

They did install their custom cam for the 8 speed auto trans. Including the increased fuel lobe as well.
