ROTOFAB RESULTS FROM LT4 BLOWER ON LT1
So it has been asked by many forum members to do a Rotofab Test on our LT4
Conversion kit. The results were absolutely amazing. I feel that the first 2017 ZL1 to enter ADM Performance doors will be receiving just this simple upgrade to get them that extra power their looking for without killing the warranty or driveability. Here are the results - |

Very impressive, this solidified my decision to go with your LT4 supercharger w/hearders package. Hopefully, next spring.

It seems to me that the factory airbox is adequate for N.A. motor but lacking for supercharged application needing much more airflow. Do you have any comment on this thought? Love the numbers.

..also, will the car need to be tuned accordingly? or just simply throwing on this rotofab will provide what we see here?

Great gains! We're extremely excited to see our system being used with your SC package. We know there are several other choices out there you could be using. In your case, a more relevant option would be designing your own system for this application. We all know you are very capable of doing just that. We also know you hold yourself to very high performance and quality standards. All of these factors make us even more appreciative seeing our product involved with some ADM Performance builds.

If your thinking of upgrading your stock intake to a rotofab on a forced induction car(EDELBROCK,MAGNUSON,ADMLT4) you will always want to make sure your air fuel, torque calculations, and spark are good. |

With all due respect, I am skeptical at 39 RWHP, that is 4.5 lbs of air per minute increase across the engine.
On our recent build, Heartbeat cam headers exhaust flex fuel, with the stock air box we had 721 RWHP on E66, added the Rotofab and picked up 13 RWHP for 734 RWHP Back to back, the took it off put the stock air box on and back to 721 RWHP, so we reinstalled the Rotofab and back to 734 RWHP and delivered it to my customer. These are Peak to Peak numbers. There is an area of the curve that hit 20 RWHP gain, but we are talking about an 800+HP Air demand or 80 lbs a minute. An impressive gain in my opinion, Just over Double what we see N/A. I don't see how 30" of Vacuum is possible unless the intake tube was collapsing shutting off the air to the TB, Maybe this was a typo? There has to be other contributing factors to see 39 RWHP. I would be great to see the logs side by side for the 2 runs. Also be great to compare notes on our findings. Respectfully Ted.

Rotofab vs stock airbox w hi flow filter from edelbrock. .
10 to 15 gain mostly higher up.. I had a bad batch of 93 from Sams club freaking sucks, car wanted to pull timing bad during this test.. but it did add power.. I wish we would of thougt of sticking the stock filter back in.. back to back runs same day.. previous dyno was 571 with Borla headers, ATAK, and tune on 93..
