Video Motion Unlock
Gen5DIY is now offering the ability to upgrade the current function of your Gen6 Camaro's radio. Are you tired of having to pull over to enter an address or would you love to be able to view a video driving down the road? Now you can with our programming service. This service is available for customer's with either the Navigation or Non Navigation 8" screen mylink with the Bose stereo system. This will also be possible for the 7" screen mylink's in the near future. Programming service includes the following:
Ability to view movies while driving Ability to view more video types such as DIVX files Ability to enter an address while driving-Nav units only Ability to enter a text while driving- Please be careful though.. Ability to pair a phone while driving Also any other features that are currently locked out while driving will be unlocked Please be careful as these features are a distraction and must be used with caution. We offer 2 ways of going about the upgrade 1- You can send us your existing HMI module and it will be programmed accordinally. You will have to be willing to down your car for approximately 7-10 business days. Once you place your order we will send you a pre-paid shipping label to use. 2- You can purchase a new HMI unit from us and when you have it installed you can return your original one to us for the purchase price of the module minus $50. Please contact us prior as currently GM does not have adequate stock of these units on hand yet. This product is currently only available for North America use. Your XM ID # will remain the same even if you go with a new HMI module.
