Anything in Pensacola area?
I am moving to Pensacola in may, sudden job relocation. Been trying to leave DC for a while and the right job finally snagged me.
Anyone have any tips on the area? Any car clubs? Areas to live for a 20-something year old? Things that are must see or must do? Any tips about living in Florida? Can you run summer tires year round?

Welcome to FL. Didn’t see your post until now.
Plenty to do in Pensacola. SCCA Gulf Region runs autocrosses, there’s several folks that do track days, many with Camaro’s, and there’s always the ‘Cars and coffee’ events. HMU on PM if you want to discuss specifics. (Note: I don’t do C&C) -Tim

P’cola has a pretty good car following but it’s really a loose crowd. I used to do the Cars and Coffee thing but there’s too many morons with daddy’s cars or miatas that shouldn’t even be on the road. I’ve got my 19 ZLe and my 70 Camaro too so I’ve tried all kinds of gatherings. Good food to eat here and the bridge is now back open to the beach after the hurricane damage. Have fun while you’re here!
