question to those that have these, have you found them effective at all in controlling how much road debris hits the quarter panels and rockers?
would anyone be able to take a picture similar to this to help determine coverage?

I just put on a GM 2nd generation ground effects kit; 84132661.

I priced it separately and then as a kit with the splitter, rocker covers and rear lower fascia. I have not installed the rear fascia yet, and might not??

I found it cheaper on the internet, but shipping was very expensive. So I checked the local dealer who was more expensive, but shipping was included so it ended up a bit cheaper than the internet.

And, I got to look at the parts before I took them home, important to me. They were perfect.

I installed them with the help of a friend. Follow the instructions closely and they fit perfect and look great.

You will need 3m Window weld polyurethane and 3M single step primer, or equivalent. I got both from Summit Racing. Not cheap but you do want to do it right don't you?

The side rocker covers stick out farther than I thought. They should provide a bit of protection from flying debris.

Just purchased these side skirts for my SS 1LE. I contemplated all the different options available, but in the end I liked how they matched up with the factory splitter (it should have been part of the 1LE package to begin with).

So, I was looking at options for installation. Although I know that I could do it myself, free time is kind of a luxury for me working 6 days a week. Plus I don't really have a lot of room in my garage and I'm going to need to get a floor jack and jack stands (a $200 investment). I figured I'd check with the dealer who sold me the car and if it was only a few hundred bucks it'd be worth it. Well...I got the quote and they want $1100! I didn't even pay that much for the skirts themselves. I talked to the service advisor and he said he could get it down to $625. I'd be willing to pay half that just to get them done, but I just can't justify that much.

Hopefully it won't take too long for me to find the time to get it them installed, but I'll be sure to post the results when I'm done. Wish me luck.

That $200 investment for jackstands and Jack sounds like a better way to go compared to paying the highway bandits

Definitely! I was willing to go $300-350 just to get it done, but when he told me they rated it a 5 hour job I knew that wasn't happening.
