Wasn't there supposed to be a "special event" today?

There was essentially nothing. No product debuts. Only Chevy was there. Why is GM so quite right now?

I would assume the microchip issue is holding a lot back.

I don't know who is designing the new GM SUV's but the XT6 and this new Traverse look spicy in the front and rear. Saw a Midnight Traverse and Blazer right next to each other at the grocery this weekend and both look nice. Glad the V6 continues to live on. Great little engine.

More bits of info to fan the flames of doom and gloom. So be it. So do you have a URL to this latest bit of info?

Man, the thought that I may own the last generation of Camaro with a V8 isn't gonna make it any easier for me to sell this thing when the time comes. Maybe I won't sell it after all?

The Camaro should go down as a great example of how not to manage a car program.

Absolutely nothing the program management team can do in the face of a fast corporate left turn to an EV portfolio. Marketing and Sales have nothing to do with sunset of Camaro as we know it.

I think there were issues across the board, especially with the 6th gen. Since it’s release, I’ve had to explain to people that it’s not the same as my 1LE. The limited support or updates along the generation also don’t help. Especially when competitors come out with flat plane crank powered models or multiple versions cracking 700 horse power. Not to mention the fact they ignored the major complains of the previous version.

The push for EV certainly didn’t help but I would be surprised if it was the only reason for the Camaro hitting the cutting block. If anything, it seems like Chevy never thought the Camaro was worth much effort.

It's a shrinking market. We have to face it. All makes are impacted by that to some degree. GM just made a few choices in parallel that didn't help. We all know they built the superior performance coupe with the 6th gen.
