2019 Lower Grill Insert - Can you remove it?

Hey guys, I have a 2019 3LT RS and have some plans for getting a lot of the exterior and interior chrome/grey pieces to be red. On the exterior I plan on using plastidip to get the chrome part of the badges, and possibly these lower grill inserts as well. I also have somebody who would wrap them but either way I need them removed from the car.

How do I remove these lower grill inserts? I have looked online but have not found anything. I also don't want to do this if it requires taking the entire front bumper off or something. Would I be able to tape it off and spray it from the outside?

Hi, hoping I can revive this topic. I want to get these inserts to dress up the lower grille on my 2019 1LT (non-RS). However, I found two different sets of part numbers. Does anyone know what the difference is and which set would be for my vehicle?
The part numbers above...plus I came across these (which are much cheaper):

#84112291 (left) & #84112292 (right)

The two sets look identical to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The images do look identical but the description is not the same. Idk if GM is making a few extra dollars because one is performance package and one is not. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can give you an answer from experience versus me just looking at web site information.

Thank you for researching this! I found similar and one set showed "RS".
I reached out to a couple of online GM parts sites and it turns out that, even though the front looks very similar, the setup for my specific VIN does not have those inserts. For this particular front end with the taller top grille, I think this means that the lower grille is different for LT/RS/SS, etc. I looked in there and don't see anywhere these would mount to.
I am thinking of just adding a red decal over the main angled portion and call it done. I just want something a bit different. :-)

I have the non RS and the bottom grille looks to be the same size/shape when counting rows. As far as that goes, the upper looks the same as well, just different headlights, at least on my 2020.
