Cool FOLLOW ALONG! FLHP ZL1 1LE BUILD

While we're still getting set up in our new location, the work doesn't stop. We've got a new ZL1 1LE in the shop receiving our Stage 3 performance upgrade package which includes the following parts:

Rotofab Big Gulp
LME Ported LT4 Cylinder Heads
Custom LT4 Camshaft
ARH Longtube Headers
Innovators West Lower with Metco Ring
NGK plugs
Professional Installation and Custom Dyno tune...

Here is a pic of the car.

More pics to follow of parts, build process, tuning and final QC before delivery.

Surprised you’re not doing a bigger TB and at least porting of the stock blower? Or maybe those upgrades were already done?

It was discussed. Those items are not considered "essentials". They're upgrades that we offer, and the clients made the decision based off data and what their goal is.

It's likely that we will come back around at some point and add upgraded cooling options, as well as blower porting as you mentioned.

Doing the heads but not the TB... very surprising. Asking that small blower to move more air but leaving the 87mm TB in place is unusual. Even the 95mm TB is so cheap, it’s a great upgrade at that level. I think RockAuto has them for under $200 FYI.

No doubt. As I said, wasn't on the list of items this time around.

We're thinking something bigger anyhow after this round. I try not to sell people parts they're going to sell in 6 months unless its absolutely necessary to reach their goal. I assure you the factory TB will not hinder performance goals here.

UPDATE

Sorry, slammed here at the shop. Several Camaro builds underway. The cam and parts are installed on the ZL1. Will update with pics and idle video ASAP!

Looking forward to the finished products.
