Michelin 4s 0-60 time

Recently put some ss sized Michelin 4s on my 2022 lt1. Best I’ve gotten is 4.3 but every time I turn off tc I spin like crazy? What gives I tought these tires would grip better? Anybody have any experience with them?

I've used them for five years or so. With the caveat that mine is a 1LE, the 4S might be the best all-around high-performance tire for street and track (dry and wet) as long as temps are >40F. However, it sucks at the strip and will be slower than many other tires at a dry track (road course), but they should be good on a wet track.

My Toyo R888R are far superior at the strip and haven't yet been to the track with them. They're great on the street in the dry and >40F, but unusable in the wet.

Actually, it's slower than very few tires on a dry track, just watch some videos on the Tyre Reviews channel. It's still the wet weather performance king, although it's starting to show its age, having come out in 2017.

Judging from actual road course reviews and video, the R888R won't be any better at the track. However, the PS4S indeed isn't very good at launching from a dig and thus at the drag strip.

I got some Bridgestone potenza re71-rs 285/35 on 9.5” SS wheels for my Lt1. They’ve been great.

I would very much doubt these tires (or any SS sized tire) would give optimum performance if its been squeezed onto the OE LT1 rim (8.5" wide I believe).

Michelin's recommended rim width range for the 275/35 is 9" to 11", 9.5" being optimum.

Yeah, PS4S are 300tw summer tires with a mileage warranty. Great street and wet tire but not the king of traction in any way.

I have ZLE sized PS4S on my car, so 325/305, they offer more than enough performance on the street. Also very smooth, quiet, and they don't tramline badly at all either. So I wouldn't be afraid of sizing up, I'd guess the 325s will put power down a bit better than 275s.

Yep. All usage, surfaces and conditions factored in, they're probably the best for our cars. Mine are 305/325. I put them on a few weeks ago to dyno.
