Anyone tried the Y splitter for OBD II port?

Anyone here try the OBD II port Y splitter with good results? Just wonder because I want to run a N Gauge for HPTuners & another gauge. Which one is a good one? Any known problems associated with doing this?

I suppose the biggest concern is how much power the OBD II port pushes out and how much power the two devices require. Maybe you'll need a supplemental power source.

Instead of a splitter, look for a pass-thru connector like AEM uses on their AFR gauges.

The benefit of the pass-thru is the additional information is available to the other device on the plug.

i.e., I can log my Wideband O2 with HPTuners. It's a simple process to add the channel.
