Can your car hang with new GT500's? Over on the GT500 forum they (latest gen) are always claiming no Camaros can hang with them. I don't track so I have no personal experience. I used to own a 2011 GT500...

I was on track with a new one last month, and I was faster. He tried to run away on the straights but was very inconsistent on his exits. I was able to hang early on the straights then he would go WOT and pull away. But my braking technique is solid and I could eat him up on entries. He had no choice to let me go. Driver is the biggest part of the equation. Given an equal to better driver than I, and on the proper tires, the GT500 will be faster I suspect. All other generations of the GT500 have always been easy prey. Even in my modded '14 1LE. They just do not have the complete package vs the 1LE Camaros. There's lots of variables in play, one of which is finding an owner of a big $ Mustang willing to push hard. A buddy bought a new GT500 to occasionally track but found out the track insurance is massive on that car. IMHO, he bought the wrong car to track.

Here are pics of my Wild Cherry Red '22 2SS. I got design pack 3 which included the black vinyl with the hash mark on the hood. I had them removed and had spear stripes from the Screamingchicken added to the hood and sides. Before and after pictures below.

Very nice! I really like the 1LE style wheels on the ZL1. Best looking wheel on a Gen6 Camaro in my opinion.

Since the 22 model production numbers have been shared in the ZL1 production section, I am looking to track down as many of the WCT ZL1s as I can. If you are willing to share your VIN with me, I'll share my spreadsheet with the data I have collected. I am trying to collect the actual numbers for the A10 and M6 for Coupes and Verts. I found 4 coupes and 4 verts so far. Only 170 left to find of 178
