Already in for repairs =(

Well I picked up my 2016 2SS the other night.

During the break in process I ended up getting a "service stabilitrak" message.
So I ended up losing traction control, stuttered under throttle and started ticking (not sure if it was from the drive belt system or not) Car had roughly 300 miles on it when this happened and dropped off at the Dealership with 367

For those that want to chime in "Maybe you did it wrong" I've broken in my 2015 Silverado and my 2015 Corvette the EXACT same way, EXACT same route and have never had an issue with either of them.

So now I'm curious to see if anyone else is having issues with their cars?

Here's to hoping it's something minor!

And since it's my first post with the car:
2016 2SS
Mosaic Black
Auto
Performance exhaust
Sunroof
Black and red interior

Pics will be posted in the thread in a bit!

What break in procedure did you use?

Don't see how anyone would blame you regarding any breakin procedure you did. Things like that often boil down to a bad sensor somewhere. Hopefully that's all it is.

I also had a service stabilitrak message pop up for a couple seconds and then it went away never to return. This also happened at about 300 miles. The car now has about 800 miles. If it comes back then I will probably do something about it. There were no symptoms other than the message.

I had that message come on once with my 2012 SS. Never saw it again.

Check the camaro issues section. A lot of us are having problems. Luckily most of our dealers have been very awesome about getting things fixed quickly

Sorry to hear it, mine just clicked about 500. Mine was brought in from another dealer and the driver kinda broke it in easy. I gotten on it a couple times, but not push it hard at all. Just a couple short burst. Hope they get it figured out soon

I had originally tried to find the "Issues sub-forum" but couldn't find it on the mac.

Anyways here are some pictures.

MikeyCamaro- There are always a handful of people that just want to say "Well did you do X right?"

Spartan- Go easy for the first few hundred miles without "getting on it", avoid hard braking etc.

Hope it's something simple. Is the paint good on your car? If so I would be interested in knowing the last five of your VIN...

Well apparently it started up and ran ok today for a few moments before acting up again.

Davet- I haven't really looked at the car during the day, but I haven't noticed anything

**Update**

Ended up being a bad lifter, one of them collapsed and they're waiting on a replacement. So should have the car back tomorrow or Thursday.
