For those that want to chime in "Maybe you did it wrong" I've broken in my 2015 Silverado and my 2015 Corvette the EXACT same way, EXACT same route and have never had an issue with either of them.

So now I'm curious to see if anyone else is having issues with their cars?

Here's to hoping it's something minor!

And since it's my first post with the car:
2016 2SS
Mosaic Black
Auto
Performance exhaust
Sunroof
Black and red interior

Pics will be posted in the thread in a bit!
67% success rate is passing....?

Sounds like you got "lucky" to get a car with some hiccups...I doubt it has anything to do with your break-in process...because many don't follow any sort of procedure for break in at all.

Well it was a small hiccup.
But the service department I originally took it to only replaced 4 lifters and a couple other things. All the others were left and same with the old plugs.

So now I have a decent misfire coming from the right cylinder head.
They don't want to fix anything now saying it's "normal" but it starts to get bad at some points.

So I have to take it into a different service department (something I try to avoid) to see if they can fix it.

Original dealership doesn't want to mess with it since it doesn't have a CEL at the moment. Although the miss is NOTICEABLE even at idle.

So more updates later

Usually, other dealerships will refuse to honor warranty repairs on previous dealer's work...at least they did with me. But my issue took place in the body shop.

If I were in your position, I would insist on a diagnostic, and if they refuse - ask them to open a technical assistance case.

WOW! So many horror stories with Chevrolet service departments. It sounds like GM is letting things slip again. What a shame. What you need to do is contact GM corporate, let them know what happened.

I was surprised that the second dealership was willing to take my car even after the first one touched it. They just asked that I bring the paperwork in.

I'm surprised as well Suzook, I've never had an issue with them until this car. Always top notch service. It just annoys me hearing that this is "Normal" for the car

We will see how things go on Monday, I'd rather not get GM involved if it can be avoided.
If the second dealership fixes my car then I know who I'll go to for service from now on.

Doesn't surprise me. At least as far as warranty, any dealer is supposed to make it right. It's like buying a vacuum cleaner at one WalMart and returning it to a different one. They're all Walmart.
