Manufacturing Plant Question

Does anyone know how many shifts and what days the Lansing plant operates? I believe I read they run two shifts but is it seven days a week?

Pretty hard to run only two shifts seven days, normally any plant with two shifts only works 5 days maybe OT day on Saturday and that would probably not be the whole plant.

Thank you. My TPW is coming up in a few weeks and was just trying to get a handle as far as how many days the Camaro is assembled.

The build is fast. The wait is for shipping.

I live in Indy which is 4 hours from Lansing. I am assuming it will be truck transport and not rail, so hopefully just a week or so.

Lucky. I'm in Southern California, so I'm probably gonna have a much longer wait unfortunately even though are cars are currently scheduled to be build the same time.

Most likely it may take a few days longer being in SoCal. Rail transport does seem to slow things down. But if we get a Snow or Ice storm in the Midwest it could delay things for me as well. You just never know. But one thing for sure living in SoCal you will be able to drive her 12 months out of the year, here in the Midwest if we get a snow or ice storm in late March or early April, I'm screwed for about a week from driving. Let's hope for fast rails and great weather!
