Anyone blip downshift with rev match on?

I found with RM on blipping the throttle produces a nice bark and seems to work great with matching engine speed as well, any thoughts?

Every day it seems people go out of their way to find a way to rice a car out any way possible.

Why is the new trend that people want to hear the loud bangs, barks, pops and farts from the exhaust?

to each their own. personally I like the nice smooth sound of an engine decelerating over the cracks and pops.

the gtr's warble is what I'd love to have, but that's a different animal altogether

I ussually blip between gears when up shifting while cruising just because it sounds cool.

I don't like pops, but that comes with non packed chambered exhaust. Plus I think as the miles build up they don't pop as bad when new.

Hey, my car is a little gassy ok, and she's sensitive about it.

Crackles and pops were a side effect of the exhaust setup I got and deleting secondary cats. I'll admit I don't hate it most of the time, but I don't go out of my way trying to make it happen.

My 17 SS 1LE had the secondary cats deleted from teh 1k mile mark, it never popped, farted or banged ever. It has ran the ARH full system catless headers since 5k miles N/A and since 12k miles with a Procharger and has never made any noise at all.

I just dont get it the desire to make the pops, bangs and farts like the European cars do. And believe me, I know European vehicles, we owned a 16 Audi SQ5 and now a 19 Audi S4.

I'm not sure why mine does it and yours doesn't (maybe tuning?), I'm at 118k now with no other performance mods and stock tune

It’s not the same popping and farting you hear from imports. When I think of the type of sound some are mentioning here, I think of that ricer Nissan 350Z that sounds like it’s accelerating like a bat out of hell, but is actually barely moving. The pops and crackles I get from my exhaust are NOTHING LIKE THAT! Also, why does anyone really care about what someone else does to their car? To each their own. Don’t like it...don’t do it to your car. Simple.

Just to clarify, it's my bone stock 2019 1le with 600 miles, I did however add an aftermarket licence plate holder...

Gtr is an impressive machine but the pops are way too much for me. If my car popped just a little bit, I’d be happy. Currently it only pops when cold and when I start it.
