Question about Camaro order

Hello guys,

I am currently leasing a Infiniti Q50s and cannot wait to get my hands on a Camaro 2ss of my own. But heres my situation, my lease doesn't end until the beginning of September . So my main plan was to wait until 2 months prior to place an order on a 2020 camaro 2ss with the exact specs I want with Becky !

but my main question is, when is typically the expected deadline for when I can place an order on a 2020 camaro ?

Any suggestions you guys recommend ?

Right now the schedule shows the last week to place orders 3/26/20 and
the actual build out date 5/29/20. The 2021 models can be ordered early April with the first submissions the week of 4/23/20. You're definitely going to be a 2021 model given the time frame you're trying to use

Wow, you guys are talking 2021 already? I'm still trying to decide between the SS and Challenger SP. They won't even have their new colors out for a couple months yet and their build site still isn't updated completely for 2020! I was leaning towards the scat, but it looks like they will be a little more pricey as the best rebates are still for left over 19's and good ones likely won't be here until near the end of summer for 20's. You can get a lot more options and interior colors with the Camaro and the Mustang conquest also. But I've been hearing the Challenger is much easier to live with as a DD, especially if you plan on driving it year round. IDK, I think I need to test drive both again. Just wish you could take them out longer than a few minute drive to try to decide. BTW, any rumors of any changes to the 21 models?

Mrbobcat, you could try leasing one for a weekend to have some extended driving time.

I’m struggling with SP Challenger vs. Camaro as well. Sure wish they’d release some incentives... Aside from that goofy conquest where a guy that’s been driving Fords can buy the same car for 2 grand less! The dodge is fun but it feels and drives ‘big’ whereas the Camaro is snug and seems to be on rails. Especially the Z1LE. Wow.

It’s like comparing a P51 to a B17. They’re both sexy & functional in their own way.

When I went looking for my new car, my priorities were manual transmission, RWD, fun to drive daily that I could track occasionally. Looking at those qualifications, there weren't many options first of all, but I went and test drove as much as I could.

Miata, BRZ Limited, Challenger Scat, Mustang GT, Camaro LT, SS. After trying them all, the choice was clear, the Camaro SS was the most fun to drive for me.
