Spoiler-Sticky Gummy Rubbery Gasket Stuff

What is the stuff the factory uses under the rear spoiler.....the rubbery, gummy sticky gasket.....is it butyl rubber like the below link?

Pretty sure the guy that did my PPF used 3m two sided tape as a gasket. He said that’s pretty much what the factory gasket is. Never had a leak in my trunk so......
Actually what you have listed there looks just like it.

I have recently upgraded my spoiler, this part looks exactly like the factory gasket, it definitely isn't 3M dual sided tape. Great find, thanks.

Yeah he called it like a two sided tape but it looked rubbery like the stuff the OP had a link to. But I’m pretty sure it was a 3M product.

From what I have seen, all of the "double sticky" tape stuff just isn't the same as that factory stuff.....had the exact same exact stuff on the Hellcat..so both GM and Dodge use the same kinda stuff.....it's that stretchable rubbery stuff as best as I can describe it.....just never have been able to get the exact stuff as everyone says "oh yeah.....double sticky foam or 3M" which from what I have seen is all kind of foam based adhesive tape. I'm gonna order some from the link, research shows butyl rubber has good characteristics for what I want to use it for. Thanks

I guess the dealer didn’t have any information or replacement gasket? I know mine didn’t. You would think they would have some sort of answer.

Head scratching Scottyz......of course they said "3m double sided sticky tape?" .....and "it probably comes with the spoiler"....which if memory serves me correctly, when I switched spoilers on the Hellcat it came with the stuff in question on the spoiler......might go by the body shop Monday and see what they say....but in preparation of me pulling mine off, to paint.....I want to have it ready to go.....

Be interesting to see what it says in the service manual. It must have a reference to some product. But you would think that something would be referenced in the parts manual/catalogue/computer. I know when I tried to get something my friend who is the parts manager couldn’t find anything. We were both shaking our heads so I just let the guy who did my PPF install use what he would figure the factory would use.
I trust him. The guys is pulling wings off all kinds of exotics and sports cars all the time so....
