Tuning????Kinda
Ok fells, I was reading something about someone being able to change the settings on the BCM/ECM for setting like windows auto up or down, or in the case I'm looking for. I have a co worker that bought a 2019 Silverado and the top speed is limited to 98 MPH. Question is how/who can tune this out and change the settings, He doeset really need to go fast un lest he really needs to. He contacted the dealer he bought from and they have not responded. So who know how or who knows someone that knows how and how much would it cost. I know i read somewhere on this forum about what can be changed.
Please assist and if i have this in the incorrect section, please move it..

2019's have a new ECM that has a locked bootloader so tuning may actually never happen, they maybe able to this generation eventually, but next generation will definitely be untuneable, uncustomizable, and unenjoyable.
You could do it if it was a 2018 or below with HP tuners or EFI live. As for the window control, that's a function of the BCM and there is no consumer readily available way to change BCM functions on GM vehicles like this that I know of. I think there may be some places online you can ship your BCM to get custom functions and they program it for you though. I have heard for other manufactures and BMW's that custom BCM functions are easy to customize and tune and software and hardware to do it is readily available. This makes no sense to me since I though GM stuff was the most "tune friendly" stuff, maybe for engine and transmission stuff but not for other functions. |

2019 Camaros and Silverado's are completely tuneable with HPTuners. Have already done multiple. Bcm functions are definitely not tuneable tho.

Yes you can tune 2019+, motor only currently. $2699 starting price point. Look up Chuck Anders on FB. He tuned a 2019 AT4 not too long ago
