Honestly I'm not even comfortable having those AFM parts in there without them getting used. I believe that if a component isn't regularly cycled like it's designed it's more likely to fail somehow.

Theres also extra valves in the exhaust for the AFM cars that the M6 doesn't have.

that wouldn't necessarily prevent you enabling AFM, it just means the car would sound slightly worse when in V4 mode
I know you will get a code if you unplug the AFM valves, but does it prevent the car going in to V4 mode at all?
