I think yours is a bit of an exception, due to being Wild Cherry.

That sucks arse, though.

It is there. A1Y is the free flow RPO code for the standard 1LE package. Search for A1Z, which is not far below it: "ZL1 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package"

The ZL1 is being offered with the 1LE option for 2023. It's the same as 22 where the 1LE options are being offered with SS and ZL1 trims.

It did suck. I told my dealer, since it was my allocation, that if the Wild Cherry was a hindrance, make it Vivid Orange to keep the build going. They didn’t and it was cancelled.

It’s all good though. I’ve got a ‘22 ZL1 A10 in Satin Steel built and waiting to be shipped. Hopefully it’ll be here in a few weeks.

Oh man, that's so disappointing.

I'm glad you found one in Satin Steel, though. Congrats!

I just found out from my dealer that my '22 order has not been picked up due to 2SS constraints. Does anyone know how long these constraints might last? I assume the heated and ventilated seats are the constrained features. Should I just switch my order from a 2SS to a 1SS and miss out on some of the creature comforts? I think the biggest thing I would be sad to miss out on is the blind spot detection.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they're building 2SS, but shipping them without heated/cooled seats and rear radar. They end up as a credit on the window sticker to be added by a dealer later.

I thought that was the case too, but I'm going off what the dealer told me today. And I looked back at a post that GearheadSS posted end of last month that looked like there was 2SS constraints? Maybe it's a different feature that is constrained? My order does have the Performance Data Recorder on it as well, and if that is the constraint, I would be more than willing to remove it to keep the 2SS options.

If your 2SS wasn't picked up by GM for 2022, you'll need to reorder as a 2023. GM will not be accepting any additional orders for 22. On the 2023 they've already announced that park assist, ventilated/heated seats won't be included until later in the production year but will be retrofitted at the dealer when chips are available. Sorry to hear about your SS

Your story sounds similar to mine. I placed an order for a 2SS 1LE with PDR back in September last year. My dealer has been telling me that due to constraints on 2SS's they haven't been able to get an order in. I mentioned that I would live without the PDR, since I know that has been on constraint as well, but was told that was not the issue. Now, I've since found this thread and have seen that 'some' production of 2SS has happened, and I know of at least 1 2SS 1LE produced this year. But I'm in Canada, and it seems we may not have the same access to production. I also recently just learned that my dealer doesn't have allocation for my order and can't get it because of constraints? They have gotten lower trim Camaros though. It's all very confusing. I don't get the impression they are trying to mislead me in any way. Some dealers near me are only just now getting in 2SS 1LEs that were ordered a year or more ago. Just seems like the whole system is a mess right now.

Really don't know what to do... Keep waiting with this dealer or start all over again and try to place an order with another dealer, or try to find a car that a dealer has already ordered that has the spec I want. None are a clear path to success.

Search far and wide. After 5 months sitting at 1100 for my 2SS I found my exact build in Michigan (I'm in NY). Called the dealer and purchased it.

My 1SS 1LE with PDR got accepted Tuesday. Dealer said they had 2 other Camaro orders accepted but weren't expecting mine to get picked up because of PDR constraint. Said there were 70 allocations for PDR last week and they didn't have one.

At 3000 with no TPW yet.

Good work - lucky to score a car like that. 99.9997% of the time a car listed as in stock or in transit is long gone.

So after reading through this, is there a point of putting in my order on the 28th for a 2ss? Or should I just go for a LT1 or 1SS?

I think I read the v6 3LT is in the same boat?
