It’s been asked and posted several times, I think there are a few on Facebook and at least one with over 200k

Not sure if you want to chat with owners or just know if they exist, but check out any of the big car buying sites like autotrader. Plenty of 100k+ mile 6th gens.

Homer from Canada has over 200K on his 2017. And that was from several months ago. Probably has more now.

I'm at 106K

In the last 60K that I have owned it, I've had to replace the battery, both front O2 sensors, spark plugs, front brake pads, one front hub bearing, and tighten the oil pan bolts. A/C compressor wire that controls the variable displacement solenoid broke in the harness about 6" from the compressor (hard area to access). Pulled the wire out of the harness as close to that area as I could and ran a new wire down to the compressor. Other than that, no real issues with the car.

That breakdown would be worth seeing, if you don't mind.

I will try my best to remember
Transmission shudder at 21,000 miles- fixed with correct fluid flush
Oil pan leaking between 21, and 30,000 miles -fixed under warranty
Transmission temperature sensor failed causing the P0700 and P0711 code fixed with new harness and fluid refill $500
Coolant hose going to the oil cooler, 4 inch piece of hose split 70,??? miles $168
and the last thing was the rear differential went out at 90,000 miles and was $2900 for new rear carrier and drivers side axle from GM and labor

But to be fair the first 11,000 miles life of this car was a Enterprise Rental car. It is also my daily at over 300 miles a week plus a few trips to the dragstrip. I am not easy on her so I can't and won't complain about the money spent over the last 4 years.

Decent. I’d take that over my experiences! Thanks for the write up D

Taylor, I might add that two high school friends are service writers at Landers McLarty Chverolet and another friend in the parts department for the body shop. And alos they shorted me 4 quatrs of oil on one of the free oil changes and called them out on it:( Got extended warranty on the engine and it only went back to them for the rear differential change a few months ago. Sorry you had a bad experience:(

It really seems like with these cars, the bulk of the problems come earlier in its life...

TCS Shudder
Power Steering Failure

I've had both of those happen to me, but after fixing those the car has been pretty reliable.

Im at 65k. Have had to replace the thermostat really. Coolant hose at the bottom of the engine came off Saturday but was able to limp it to a Caddac dealer after the temp gauge pegged twice.

$600 and good to go.

There is it least 1 ZL1 owner on FB with over 115k miles and no issues.
