To all the people who don't eat in their cars, do you take your shoes off before getting in too? lol

Who hear does the same?

Absolutely no drinks or food. It's hard to get the food smell out and all it takes is one accident with a drink and then the carpet is ruined.

Absolutely not … only threw some groceries in the trunk for a 5 minute ride a few times but I will not eat in the car. Took a 8 hour trip and ate when I had to fill her up. I couldn’t imagine eating some fast food and touching that alcantara or having a passenger drop some ketchup on the Recaro seats.

No food, no drinks, and no farting. Six years old and still has the new car smell.

I don't even eat in my DD 2012 Hyundai Sonata, WTF? If you are hungry, stop and go inside, don't have time? Do better time planning if you need to eat... I'll occasionally take a coffee (in a travel mug) or a fountain drink in the Camaro, but that is it, it isn't my daily driver so no need to make it my house, I have one of those already...

I've been in cars with old fast food bags from who knows when, gross... I appreciate being able to own my Camaro and keep it as a fun car (7,300 miles, nearly 3 years, never seen rain, driven at night once, on the way home from delivery), so I take care of it like a cherished possession, as it is..

To each their own... I could buy a bunch of them, but there was a time I couldn't buy the wheels for one, and I always remember that time... So I appreciate the ability to own one that I can make my "fun" car and drive only when I want...

I do wear my shoes in my car, but my shoes typically don't have ketchup, mustard, grease or other related food debris on them.

I kinda get what others say about this being just a car, but I find great pleasure in still having a bit of the new car smell in my 2018 and keeping it relatively clean. Not OCD level clean, but the broken window effect is real, preservation is much easier than restoration.

Needless to say, other cars in the family were and are way less pristine.

Mine's a daily driver, but no food has ever been eaten in it while I've had it. Carryout goes in the trunk...For me it's a smell thing. It still smells like leather and I love that smell. Don't want anything contaminating it.

I have stopped to get a few groceries that went into the manhole, nothing major. No one is allowed to eat anything in my car. Bottled water only allowed drinks inside.
