Whos fbo and procharged with sbe?

So i pulled the trigger on a darton sleeved 427 and then the guy that was goin to buy my engine didnt have the money and so scratch that idea. So i have FBO 220 btr cam prc ltx heads ported msd 103mm tb kooks headers tcm tuned etc etc made 552 rwhp in 6th so in 7th probably round 570. Goin by the tests we did 5th was 528 6th 552 an this was consistent. So 15 to 20 more in 7th. Dyno operator didnt want to hit 190mph on the rollers. But i do have enough to buy a flex fuel and stage 2 procharger kit. Am i running to close to the edge to add the procharger with stock pistons an rods?

You’re fine adding the blower. Definitely run as much E as you can, that’s going to be a big factor in keeping the factory LT1 pistons alive. Keep the timing reasonable (low 20’s) and the boost down enough to keep you in the 650-675 WHP range. Obviously leaving a good bit on the table, but if you don’t want to do the motor yet that is where I’d stay.

A quality drop-in piston & rod set will let you head towards 1K WHP.

You'll be fine, I'm making more power now than what's in my signature. Have someone who knows what they're doing tune it and have fun. Ethanol if you have the fuel system for it, I run 93+ Boostane for piece of mind.
