Put some extra air in my ET Street Rs and went auto crossing. Kept the fronts at 36 and I aired up the rears to 30. Everyone loved the car and was impressed that I even showed up. I drove through about 40 min of rain but when it came to race time, it cleared up nicely.
We made the most of it. I took my daughter around for the first lap as a warm up and let her have some fun. Then I gave her hell the rest of the day. It was pushing the fronts pretty bad trying to keep corner speed. The rears were folding over a bit. The power management wasn't to bad because I tried to concentrate on being smooth more than GAS/BRAKE. I ended up 5th of my class, novice modified, with less than a second between the two guys faster than me. My daughter loved doing the warm up lap with me. She's not allowed any more until shes 12 though. Kinda stinks but its the rule. She did have fun watching and cheering our group on. I believe with some reg street tires on my factory 20s, it's possible to be competitive in my class. After the first lap, the dash was filled up with lights and warnings lol. Service Stabiltrac, check engine light, low tires pressure... I dont have TSP in my welds. The CEL was P0264. This code implies that the powertrain control module (PCM) has experienced a low voltage situation involving the fuel injector for the #2 cylinder in the firing order. I cleared it before we left and it didnt come back on the 40 min drive home. Hoping it was a fluke or maybe the harsh jerking side to side showed a lose connector.

My brother has four 275s left over from his hellcat that im trying to snag to put on my stock wheels for Auto X and road racing. Ive read guys had no issues running the 275 on the front factory wheel.
Just dropped it off to the local dealer to have the trans flushed and HVAC issue fixed. I think the flapper door is busted because no matter what mode I set the heater on, it only blows the face section. Dealer called me back and doesn't want to touch the trans because of the heavily modified engine. They said the trans is no longer under GM warranty. I asked them to work with me, I am only looking for the flush and new GM fluid not a new converter or anything else. He said he'd call me back. No update on the HVAC control. I hope its not the same POS problem the 5th gens had where the labor is to remove the windshield and dash. Or the sloppy mechanics way of cutting the side of the heater box apart. Just the diag is going to cost me $130. I'm going to try to get it on the dyno before the snow starts. Id think that going down to 10.5 CR, I'm still around 700 wheel.

Yes, they emailed me about a Pro Series 258mm triple disk for $1200. I need to research the stall size I should get. 3200-3400 or 3400-3600.

What is the designation on your converter? I talked to them about mine and that I wanted my stall to be more drive able on the street because driving a 4200 stall sucks. I ended with a 1B which I think is a 2600-2800 or something like that.

Finally getting around to installing my torque converter. The plan is to do it Saturday. I think the hardest part was getting the car in the air. I sure miss my 09 Turbo Silverado with a full frame and 25 jack points.
I ran out to the shop to tinker a bit and dropped the exhaust, heat shields, drive shaft and starter. Next will be removing the plastic skid plates and the torque converter bolts. After that its pretty much un-clipping the harnesses and bell housing bolts. Sure looks tight in there but well get it out.
