Black plastic bumper guard removal
So im in the process of doing the 1le front end conversion and was wondering if anyone has removed the front plastic and foam cover. Thinking maybe painting it flat black or getting it wrapped.

When I did the 1LE grille conversion I removed the plastic bumper guard as it seems you have as well at this point. Are you asking how to separate the plastic and foam sections from each other?

I haven't removed it yet the picture I posted was with the bumper just sitting in place. Do you have pictures of your bumper with it off.

Ah I see there was some confusion on my end, I was misreading the post thinking you wanted to paint the plastic guard not the actual crash bar! In my case I kept the plastic/foam guard for the small airflow benefit it probably provides. Though I did remove the crash bar at one point for my oil cooler install, its not to bad just the 8 bolts into the frame and a few push pins holding some ducts in place.
