Glad you're okay. I hope they get charged for everything, no reason to drive like an a$$.

Glad you are okay but your Camaro destroyed by an idiot reckless driver. Something like this happens all the time now because of reckless or distracting driving. Hopefully you can replace your 2017 with an 2022 and sorry for your loss.

Just picked up the accident report, driver of the Charger was found to be at fault & was cited for failure to maintain lane, following too closely & excess speed for conditions.

She has Geico insurance so now I just wait for the insurance estimator to decide if it is totaled or not.

I got valuations from Carvana, Car Max & Vroom for between $35,800 & $37,700. It will be interesting to see if the insurance tried to low ball me

Isn't that a guarantee? If Carvana, Car Max, Vroom all have inflated prices, I wonder even if they don't try to low ball you, if they will go off those sites or bluebook/blackbook values.

And I just found out that she has the minimum state allowed coverage of $25K property damage per accident.

The value of the two cars she destroyed is going to be at least twice that.

Good thing I have uninsured / under insured coverage at 100K per accident

I hope mine and the other drivers insurance companies sue her to recover the damages

She is still responsible for the difference in the amount. So you can sue her for the difference.
If she causes 50k of damage and the insurance only covers 25k she is still responsible for the remaining 25k. Your insurance or you might have to sue her in the end.

Just because they counts may find her responsible for 25k in damages above her insurance does not mean she has the ability to pay the 25k.

She may not have the funds but you can attach wages if found that she does owe it. Also they can go after her assets if she has any.

Hopefully your insurance company makes you whole. And hopefully she did not have full coverage on her car. Stupid should hurt.
