My flat kit

So I don't want to rely on run flats. Most of this I had from my last corvette which was running Nittos. It's a scissor jack from Harbor freight (you can see where I had to trim the foam), a Viair compressor, plug kit, pressure gauge, gloves, lug wrench...

Where's the spare tire?

I'm going to put something similar to this together for mine. I'm not on the run flats either. I'm mainly concerned with getting off the road to a safe area in the event of an emergency.

No spare. That's to fix a flat on the tires that are on the car. I know they are run flats, but I don't want to rely on that and as soon as they are worn out they will be replaced with regular tires. And I'm not too worried about an extra 5-10 pounds in a 3700+ pound car.

Nice, I am working on my kit now. Runflats are almost done so the next set will be "normal" tires that last more than 8k miles.

I need something like this too. I wish there was a good way to fit a compact spare tire like my 5th gen had. Thanks for sharing.

There's obviously a market for a kit like this, you'd think someone would have one available.

I'm going with the Slime Safety Spare kit and a tire plug kit.

Slime is AAA approved and doesn't hurt TPMS sensors. Ultimately, the kit is just to get me home or to a shop. I'm planning to run non-RFT's for my next set.

I ran a BMW R1200 GS bike all over the Western US for a dozen years. I carried one of these; http://www.stopngo.com/pocket-tire-p...ubeless-tires/

Along with a small compressor I could plug into the accessory outlet.

Sadly I only plugged a single tire of my own, and it worked beautifully. But I did do 4 or five for other riders. The kit seemed to work pretty well.

Now certainly a cycle tire is smaller than our Camaro rubber, but I think this set up would still work
