Any word on Chevy Performance CAI?

Has anyone heard anything lately about the CAI from Chevy? I'm really interested in what numbers they will be getting, especially with the rumored tune that retains the warranty.

I gave up and got the Mishimoto for $329. It's not a warranty deal breaker anyway.

Chevy really drops the ball in performance parts and accessories. Sad.

I guess they are more focus on build and the addon/performance department is just to say that they have it. Hope that department gets going for us the owners.

I showed the ad on the Chevy website to the parts counter dude at the dealership. He couldn't order the part because the part number listed 'wasn't found'. Bummer, it says available early 2016???

Maybe they're putting the brakes on after hearing about the whistling noise coming from the exact same CAI design?

But really...i think its because Chevy has a million more steps to take than your average aftermarket parts manufacturer. Testing, production, more testing, ( making a ECU tune??), develop service dept documents, publish them, put it in the system, notify the penny pinchers in the warranty dpt to F off if there's a claim on a car with one....

Personally I'm waiting on Chevrolet Performance in hopes that it will also come with the ECU tune.
