There is plenty of time for your small dealer to jerk you around. I ordered my 2SS on 18 December and walked out the door with an Order Workbench. That doesn't mean squat. Jeez, I walked away from a hyper blue on the lot cause I wanted white, I might reconsidered and go down and pick that blue one up. It's got everything I wanted except for the interior lighting, which I can do myself honestly.

Plus the blue has grown on me A LOT.

My experience ordering from a small dealer has not been fun at all. It's really too bad because it does not need to be this way. Most of my angst has been due to lack of communication and the dealer being less than candid with me. If I found a 2SS close to what I want, at a fair price, I'd go for it.

This is why i cancelled my order with a local dealer(dealers here suck). they would not provide me a order number. after paying $500 for a deposit, it should be the least that they do.. who the hell knows if they even put in your order?

I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but anyone who orders now will have their car in the blink of an eye compared to those of us who ordered back in July/August. 8 weeks is nothing.

My history is in my name as well. About 139 days. Second production week of the 2016 Camaro. By the way, most dealers don't make thousands and thousands of dollars selling a new Camaro.
