BRAKES
Just curious if anyone can shed some light.... I’m at 30k miles of mostly street miles but still on stock rotors/pads with motul rbf600 fluid. Looks like my front rotors will need to be changed but having a hard time finding any part numbers or prices. Also as for the pads I keep seeing different part numbers lol. Looks like after all even though the zl1 uses the same caliper it has a different pad design... any insight or experience with different set ups or even possibly different lines would help! Thanks guys.

Info is all over this site about rotors and pads. How do you know they need to be replaced? Have you measured them or have cracks etc? Post some pics.
Best place for new OEM SS 1LE rotors is usually RockAuto (uses p/n without dash) ACDELCO # 177-1193 Left and 177-1194 right For stock SS 1LE pads I usually go to Amazon because it's easy and a low price. Fronts: 171-1040, Rears: 171-1127 If you Google the part number you can find all sorts of places that sell them. The ZL1 does not use the same calipers or rotors or pads as a SS 1LE. |

Another source for pads and rotors is KNS Brakes. Ken knows his stuff over there.
As said with the 1LE front rotors you have a couple of options. Turn them Replace the whole rotor assembly with a new GM one (Roughly $350) Replace just the rotor ring with a DBA 4000 or a Girodisc rotor ring (roughly $350) There are a plethora of pad options out there for the SS 1LE.
