Modifying the Front Bumper Fascia Tow Eye Access Hole Cover

I am thinking of adding the 20-24 Premium Stealth Tow Hook from ZL1Addons to my 2022 SS when it comes out of hibernation. However, I don't like the look of the grill with the Front Bumper Fascia Tow Eye Access Hole Cover missing. Has anyone modified it so it can be reinstalled with the tow hook installed? I am thinking of picking up the hole cover from GMPARTSSTORE for $37.24 and cutting out what is needed and was wondering if anyone has done this and how it looks. Post pictures if available.

I did the GT4 style hook and modified the cover your describing. Should be easier with the hook you want.
Took a decent amount of trimming with a Dremel / cutoff wheel.

Has anyone successfully gotten a tow hook installed on an LT without messing up the grill?
