You can simply disconnect the battery. That's what I do when I go away for a while. Just don't forger to open the windows a tiny bit otherwise you won't be able to close the doors properly.

...and don't let the wife drive it!

You don't need to disconnect the battery to leave your car sit for 1 month.

In the winter, there are times when my truck will sit for a month without being driven simply because we take my wife's car when we do go out. There are times in the summer when my cars sits in storage for weeks because there aren't enough stretches of nice weather to take it out. By creating this thread in the first place, OP has already invested more time and effort into it than will be necessary.

If I'm parking my car in the garage and expect it will be there for more than a couple of days without being driven, I connect the battery tender. It's a precautionary thing that I do because I have a good tender and it's easy for me to do.

You can put it in transport mode to reduce the battery drain over time if you don't have a trickle charger. It might still start after a month without using transport mode or a trickle charger.
