2022 Production Build Numbers

Camaro Fam,

I reached out to a resource I know who was able to get me build info on the ZL1. It looks like someone beat me to it for the SS & SS 1LE. So here goes the info for the ZL1 and ZL1 1LE. I wish the build numbers would show more granular detail on how many has PDRs or not but it is what it is...

Enjoy!

Good info.

I hope you can obtain and post up the 2023 numbers when the time comes.

19 Satin Steel 2022 ZL1 Verts were made.

There is no breakdown of transmissions by color.

Yeah verts are a prize. If you can get one, jump on it.

If you use simple math based on 19% of the verts being M6 so 3-4 could be M6 in your color. But like others have said, they don't give those numbers, so the only way to truly find out is to search the web and try the 18 others in your color. I am working on a spreadsheet to find all of the WCT ZL1 verts to find the exact number of M6 vs A10. I only have 4 of the 33 in the world

Oh wow, only 179 manual ZL1 1LE! I thought they'd ramp up production but that's even less than 2021. This car is going to be so rare when production ends

That's not a lot of cars. More Huracans are built in any given year than ZL-1s.

Yeah, it's a pretty big deal. I thought the low 2020/2021 numbers were due to Covid, but this is just crazy. Is there just no demand or does Chevy just doesn't want to build them?

Odd how the breakdown isn't available much more than this. Porsche will let you know all kinds of things. Cool that there were only 179 manual ZLE's. I'm ok with not knowing how many of those were Rapid Blue. I've seen 2 other RB Camaro's here in Vegas, an SS and ZL1. So, my ZLE is still pretty special.

I saw where it was said 70 RB ZLE's were made in total.

I will bet the vast majority of them were 10 speed autos.

I believe 2023 is the last year for RB also, only a few months left.

A number crunch with the gm heritage production numbers for 2022 Rapid blue zle with the 6 speed.
433÷179=2.41%
326×2.41%=7.85 Rapid blue zl1 1le's built with the 6 speed.
I'm happy knowing that a 6 speed zle in Rapid blue is rare with only 7 existing.😁

Looks like there may only be 1 zl1 vert in satin steel built with the 6 speed.
354÷70=5.05%
19×5.05%=0.9595 satin steel vert with the mjk 6 speed built.
