It was 100% DI. I had a street and race tune for running it. Stock ignition system. The stuff sucks because it would foul out plugs with too much starting stopping.

Impressive. I'm confident that it would pick up with the Edelbrock casting utilizing the shifted exhaust port.

I have heard that from a couple people and couple others said it would be minimal, so I’m on the fence. I have new headers being built now for the CID’s, so I’ll probably hold out for a bit longer.

Are you able to discuss the headers…? Doesn’t sound like it’s an off the shelf set. Totally understand if you don’t want to discuss. I was surprised when earlier in the thread you mentioned them possibly making for a big drop in boost.

I’ll be happy to discuss once fitted and complete. Kooks will be able to make more if the market need appears to be there. It’s going to be a stepped header into larger collectors with matching x pipe. Definitely a race setup only.

This kit is recommended for competition applications only and includes the R2650 TVS head unit only. It does not include all necessary parts for installation. The Pro Tuner Supercharger Kit #155923 is capable of delivering horsepower output well over the 1,000 mark with the appropriate supporting modifications, fuel system upgrades and custom tuning (not provided by Edelbrock). I had my system 1 year before maggi released there I got tired of them fibbing about a release date.

Jason, we have discussed the "other" costs associated with all-out racing beyond the cost of the car itself. Here's what I had to do to travel and race a 6-second 4-link car at tracks from Denver to Sonoma to Brainard to No Problem to Pomona, etc.

$250k motorhome
$100k stacker
25k Mini
3k EZ-GO
Scooter

God knows how many other things like ProJack, air compressor, generator, lots of wheels and tires, basically a mobile tool shop, on and on.

The racing was fun; the rest of it was a lot of work for four people. The engine maintenance time lashing valves, changing springs, air bleeds and jets after every run was ... not fun.

Sweet rig! It definitely all adds up. I'm thankful that Vengeance has a pretty sweet racing program for customers that want to do it. They bring the toter with the lift, tools, techs, etc. It's not for free of course, but at least it removes much of the other headaches for me.

No doubt you guys are fast yall all get your cars setup to make good runs to show off your products well done! Congrats!

However this is what I mean by my setup is just as if not better than a stock maggie. Also I got my blower from your boy who is at whipple now was at edelbrock. At the time you could get a Kong blower cheaper but not now. Well you factor a 400 snout lid plates well hell I laid it out its 5k cheaper.

Anyhow this guy is selling his shortblock and maggie I'm looking for a setup for the wife so I asked him about his setup..

This guy's running a 10.3 lower and 80mm 1030 rwhp I'm at 8.3 and 77mm 1045 or 1067 dyno’s are dyno’s but sorry I don't have an auto for times. Honestly I don't even like that style of racing so it's not gonna happen.

But you can see here along with several examples ive posted in the past needing more pulley on a stock maggie to be at my power level or past it.

For god sakes, Jack. Dyno from shop A to shop B across the country means nothing. And no disrespect to John, but he has never trapped his claimed power to weight - ever. The highest I've ever seen him trap is 155 MPH, but it's a 3800 lb car (we raced at the same event with scales and raced each other). Wallace says that is 1090 FLYWHEEL. He did say there is belt slip, so possibly that's why, but he had that on the dyno also.

Like I said before, 9.45/2.75 combo at 3900 lbs trapping 164 MPH on a stock Maggie. Verified at multiple tracks. Guess what Wallace says? 1,325 FLYWHEEL, or assume 15% loss for the A10, so 1,126 RWHP. This is why you have to get off the dyno or just don't comment on what is better. By your logic of dynos, I only made 80 more RWHP than him but trapped 9 MPH more. Obviously something is wrong there.

What ever if I stuck a 10.3 on w meth I'd be close 1200 u idiot it plain and simple less pulley more power turning slower means more efficient. Your bad ass runs means u sunk a ton into suspension mods and tires.
