I went with the ECF in 295/315 on the Apex SM-10's for track days.
Going to see if I can get more days out of them than the SC3's. I'll be using them for the 1st time at the Sebring TT in April.

I'm going to run these in 315/325 on my stock zle wheels for cota in May. Anyone think I'll have trouble with the 315 up front?

Word is they tend to run a little narrow. I have nothing to back this up but I think you'd be fine up front. 305 vs 315 is .4" You could go look at the Tire Rack spec sheet for the 305 SC3R measured width and the 315 ECF width.

Same from what im gathering: the ECF runs more narrow. In a way, that is OK being the endurance compound it is in respect to mass vs heat-up.

You are right it's only .4 bigger so should be good to go. Thanks man.

Going to run the same setup for the first time at MSRH on March 12/13. Hoping these will be good practice tires that hold for several days.

Really interested to see how these perform relative to SC3 for time trial use in 200TW+ classes. Is anyone aware of tests on a somewhat heavy car yet?

https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/ar...-buyers-guide/ Looks like they'll be a little slower than the SC3s, but handle heat even better, i.e. our heavy pigs. Going to try them out next weekend. |

Really hoping someone runs a 315/325 or even 315/345 to see if these are really viable for our cars. I am sure 315/325 would work but I am curious how it looks on the tire and if it will be too bulgy.
