Well, I have the original dealer that offered the same pricing as a last resort. If that doesn't work out and I have to pay C7 $, I'll be driving a C7 instead

I was stuck at 1100 status for 2 months. When asking them if they had the allocations it was alway we have plenty that's not a problem. Come to find out they had plenty but had filled the next 2 months with their own stocking orders. I spoke with the GM and asked him if he could modify one of their existing orders. He did. Went from 1100 to 3100 and a very close TPW. May not be your case but could help.

That does help actually and thanks for the tip. I'll suggest that when he gets back. My salesman is very honest and a good guy that was in my wedding and it's a big dealership. The sales manager could be playing this all up though for a bait and switch. I'm not going to wait around forever though or pay more for the same car somewhere else. I really liked the Camaro so hopefully it all works out. Thanks again your help.

Becky seems like a hero to every Camaro fan and is does a huge service to everyone who orders just by checking literally everyone's order (not mention what else she does that i don't know about).

As for me, I hadn't ordered a car before and had a close friend take a job at a dealership. His wife is unable to work because she's sick from lime disease, which her health insurance won't recognize...bottom line, the guy could use the help and I'm here buying a toy. I had an offer from another dealer that I told him about he matched it. I had to give him a shot.

...but then of course I found out more about ordering and allocation lol!
