I want my pics scaled how I want them, not how the phone "thinks" I should have them.
I noticed that too when I first got the update. I figured I didn't know what I was doing but glad to see I'm not the only one having a problem lol. You can't scale the picture down.

It sucks. It seems like it requires the pic to reach all the edges of the screen, no matter what. Which doesn't work when all of my good Camaro pics are either shot in landscape or close to the edge of the pic.

Yea it sucks, had a sweet pic of a snow leopard I took when I was at a zoo recently and it fit perfect before the update and now the tail and part of the head is cut out.

That sucks. Hopefully they fix this soon. I have a rolling shot of my car, and I can only see the front fender or the quarter panel on the screen. I want the whole side shot, dang it!!

Maybe try turning off the whole motion/3d thing. I didn't care for it and I could tell it was going to drain my battery so i turned it off. I can't tell if it moved my background though since mine is fitted to the screen size of the 5.

To turn off the gesture go to settings>General>accessibility>Reduce Motion.

Edit: Just tried it on my iPad and turning off the gesture put the photo back the way it was before the update, Oh and I found another thing that annoys me. Airdrop is only between IOS devices so I can't transfer a file to my Mac as of yet.

It helps slightly, but it still requires the pics to stretch to all edges.

Maybe it makes a bigger difference on the iPad. Here's what it did for me

With gesture on:

With gesture off:

I guess it does make a bit of a difference.

Here's with motion:

Without:

And the original (which I like to see completely like I had before):

I'll just use this one for now:

Damn I love that picture you are using right now. I have had the same lock screen background for a pretty damn long time now but I have always liked the way it looks. This is what I have on my iPhone now

Thanks! I change mine out occasionally (probably with each photo shoot) but the one I was going to use was my absolute favorite.
That's a good shot of the rear! The yellow/red contrast works well. I thought of doing something similar, but couldn't find a good enough pic.

Yea I was very surprised at how well the picture came out Because I wasn't even attempting to get a good shot what just doing a dummy to see if I liked it and have sticked with it since about March.

But anyways I'm out for the night. Gotta be up somewhat early for class tomorrow morning.
