Truck went in the shop so I drove it (first time in 2023) while waiting on a courtesy vehicle

Saturday jammed the kids in the back to go get pizza. Probably more room than the Chevy trax they gave me in until parts arrive for the Silverado

Dexter checking out the car

What was wrong with the Silverado? Wife and I just bought a new 2023 Trail Boss.

2019, love it but the oil cooler lines started leaking. Have 47K miles and it’s covered under the powertrain warranty.

Today the weather was great so I went for a nice drive, I think this is the first time I have had the temps up on the trans to really feel some smooth shifts. That 1LE trans cooler works too well for just daily driving. Got my oil changed yesterday, I usually do it myself but I just moved and haven't unpacked my POD with all the car stuff. Turns out a lot of chains don't like it when you bring your own oil/filter. Found a mechanic to quickly do the oil change.

I do need to get out my torque wrench, today I noticed a ticking coming from the driver side wheel when taking corners slightly fast. I have read that first trying to make sure the lugs are at 140ftlbs. If that doesn't work, then try to clean the surface of the hub and wheel.

Ran a short errand with mine Wednesday. Top down. Yay! Now it's stuck in the garage because I had my stamped concrete patio and driveway ribbons sealed yesterday. The Camaro is in the 3rd car slot of the garage and I have to drive to drive across a portion of the ribbon getting it out. So no driving for a couple more days.

VIR bound April 27-30th. God I love that place. Dealer charges $1,200 for track prep……thankfully I can do everything myself.

- Install G-LOC racing pads (way thicker than OEM)
- Bled brakes with Castrol SRF
- Install racing wheels and tires / Apex 18” with Nankang AR-1 315F/335R
- Change oil (10 quarts) / filter
- Installed numbers
- Installed tow hook

Giving Cerakote a whirl on my GMC and the Camaro. No way to tell how it will work/last but it does shine. Application is easy. I plan on using it on the deck of my boat. I used 303 Graphine on the hull but that stuff stains the white gelcoat. Car pic? They all look good if the car is clean, so really no point.

I bought stuff that I haven't installed yet...

Checking with Livernois to see if they can do it for me.

Not today, but last friday.

Switched OEM goodyears for Michelin PS4S. Used tirerack mobile install, went great. Installer waited while I installed some pinch weld jack pads, so he wouldn't damage my rockers. He also swapped a wheel with rock chips for another I bought and had refurbished.

Tires are great, so glad to have traction again and less road noise.
