I liked my 09 GT for its great curb appeal but frankly, 300HP wasn't enough and it didn't handle very well.

had 3 s197's. dreadful cars. us in europe expect our cars to handle good. those mustangs dont.
gen5 and 6 camaros are light years ahead of both s197 and s550 mustangs.
plus the ls motors are unbeatable. imho a muscle car should have a small block pushrod.

Agreed! My 1970 Mercedes 280S that I owned when I lived in West Germany in the 80s, was better built and handled much better than any muscle car I owned up to then. I would love to have that car now.

How did you punish yourself for this transgression?

EU laws are fekin stupid.
i would never import a car here. you really need to know what you're doing..even the inspection people mostly have no idea when u register a car here.
i bought a motorbike from england when we moved here.
took my an entire year of work to get it registered.
i'll never do that again. most of my muscle cars i have owned here have been official imports. ie swedish sold cars.
easier to sell on aswell. most imports here have been wrecked and rebuilt.

It works both ways. When I was going to ship my Mercedes home to the US from West Germany, the hurdles I had to jump over were ridiculous. From reinforcing the doors, to suspension and bumper work, it was total nonsense and of course, expense.

My new 2013 camaro

Bought a manual V8 2013 Dusk edition couple weeks ago. Just 31,000 miles on it definitely was a garage queen.
