I installed a "cable gland" in the side of the lid of my front fuse box to hook up the GEN5DIY custom wiring harness for my 2016-2018 DRLs. This was the last step in my de-fresh project, which I deferred until I got a spare lid to modify. Now I have full-time DRLs that come on with the ignition (via a fuse tap installed in place of fuse 50).

The idea to go with a cable gland was thanks to a suggestion from a forum member - I hadn't ever heard the term before it was suggested to me here. Just another great tip to come from the Camaro6 forums!

I ordered ZL1 addons lift points today. I’m picking up my 2SS 1LE this Saturday. I guess I’m going to order the ACS side skirts tomorrow. Lol

Make sure you check them with a light.
I got my ACS and didnt notice in the garage when I put them on but when I hit them with a light they were all scratched up.
I contacted ACS and they blew me off for 2weeks before I told them I was going to tell others that they are overpriced and dont care about the customer. They finally addressed my issue.

I am glad ACS addressed your issues finally! (It took them way to long) They were good to deal with on my end, but every customer is different. They make quality products.

I'm glad to hear that ACS addressed your concerns. Like I mentioned to you previously, contacting them was the only way to get something done about it. I understand your frustration. You shouldn't have to argue with them about a damaged product though to get some results. Every vendor, no matter how good, has issues with the quality or shipping of its products from time to time.

ACS was great to deal with on my end as well. They do make quality products. And they aren't cheap, but you generally get what you pay for. ACS primarily focuses on products for Corvettes so they have to make quality products to compete in that market.

Drove it. Poor thing is dirty as all hell... just need some time during the day (if I ever have any) when it's warm and not raining so I can give her a thorough cleanup

gave it a little drive today since it was 74 but going back to 30's and 40's

Just gave it a full nice bath as I am going to polish it again and put on Diamond Protech Body and wheels next week for something to do
